Retail Safari Competition Announced By Source Fashion

Source Fashion has announced the launch of a competition to win one of ten places on an exclusive new Retail Safari. The retail experiences tour will take place on Monday 15 July, from 5-7.30pm, guided by Jack Stratten, head of trends at the show’s trend partner Inside Retail.

The starting point is at Olympia Events, London, with the winning entrants going ‘on safari’ to explore a variety of London stores to observe the latest innovations in design and technology. This unique experience will aim to provide valuable insights and inspiration to apply to their own strategies and operations. The tour will be followed by a complimentary dinner at Selfridges.

Jack, a regular speaker at Source Fashion, specialises in retail innovation and future trends. His expertise is in identifying and analysing emerging trends in the retail sector, regularly leading retail safaris to showcase cutting-edge retail concepts and experiences.

“We will be going to a diverse range of some of London’s most remarkable retail stores, and in doing so we will create a picture of how the future of physical retail might look. From global flagships to quirky boutiques across Soho and the West End, our tour will examine the changing role of storesfrom marketing and storytelling, to rich experiences and problem solving. In a world of growing digital influence, stores have to do more than just sell, and London offers a fascinating glimpse into what’s coming next. As ever, our experience and network ensures we get a glimpse behind the scenes of retail too.”

Event director Suzanne Ellingham adds, “We talk a lot within Source about the importance of storytelling and connecting with customers, and how great retail blends the digital and physical experience. But the reality is that great retail is about connecting with customers in new ways, and London is a fantastic retail destination packed with innovation and experience, and we want to offer up an opportunity to our visitors to see what different retailers are doing. People always want to find out what good looks like, or what their peers are up to, and this is a fantastic opportunity to do that.”

To enter, register for a free ticket until Tuesday 2 July at 5pm at www.source-fashion.com/retail-safari.

The winning participants will be notified on Wednesday 3 July to confirm the arrangements. To qualify, entrants must hold a managerial position in buying, sourcing or retail management.

Source Fashion takes place at Olympia from 14-16 July.
