Red Letter Day For Flame Tree

It’s been a great start to the year for Flame Tree Publishing – best known for its art related calendars, notebooks and journals  – having doubled the size of its calendar and diary portfolio.

The company recently signed a landmark deal with leading American publisher Andrews McMeel Publishing (AMP), for the UK and Ireland distribution of the company’s calendar and diary lines, starting with the 2022 season. (These were formerly distributed by BrownTrout before the company’s demise last year).

The deal also includes calendars published under the Universe Publishing and Abrams brands.

“It’s a fabulous opportunity to bring our customers a very wide range of new and on-trend brands,” enthuses Frances Bodiam, managing director of Flame Tree Publishing.

Nick Wells, founder and publisher of Flame Tree adds: “Their range of day-today and wall calendars particularly complements our own publishing and allow us to provide a much wider offer to the many sectors of the market.”

Andrews McMeel (with Universe and Abrams calendars) is the premier American publisher of popular culture, savvy humour and progressive dated and undated seasonal products.

The catalogue includes properties such as Thomas Kinkade, Disney Kinkade, The Far Side, Dilbert, Peanuts and Bob Ross.
