Woof, Woof, Pet Gifts Lead The Way This Christmas

Good news for gift suppliers with pet gifts in their portfolio is that pet ownership is on the rise according to the PDSA charity, with more than half of all UK households now owning at least one pet.

Reports show that around £750 million is spent on pets at Christmas, with the average budget for pet gifts £100 – more than the amount that people spend on their friends and family.

“This year we predict that the current trend for treating our pets as a true part of the family will only continue to grow and rightly so,” says GiftPup’s product manager Emily Ford. “We have therefore been working to expand our existing range of pet gifts to include a  selection of festive-themed Christmas gifts, making pampering four-legged family members easy.”

The online gift company offers a diverse range of personalised pet gifts, to include a bone advent calendar and themed decorations.
