Jellycat, founded by brothers Thomas and William Gatacre in 1999, has received The King’s Awards for Enterprise for excellence in International Trade, one of 197 UK companies to be recognised with the prestigious award.
“It’s a great honour and a terrific tribute to the dedication of Jellycat teams around the world,” said Jellycat’s ceo Arnaud Meysselle.
The collectable Jellycat characters are stocked in over 8,000 luxury boutiques and independent stores – to include numerous gift shops – across 77 countries, and at many of the world’s most prestigious retailers.
Also celebrating is Widdop & Co. “Blown away that our family, our business is the North West Family Business of the Year,” said delighted ceo Stephen Illingworth.
