With only a few days to go to the closing date of Friday May 28, there’s been a huge number of entries and nominations for this year’s Greats Gift Retailer Awards which will see the winners announced at a fabulous, physical Awards event on September 23 at the historic Honourable Artillery Club (HAC) in London.
For retailers and suppliers who haven’t submitted their entries or nominations yet, they can be emailed direct to: suem@max-publishing.co.uk.

“We know there is a wealth of retail talent out there, and as always, we are looking for those outstanding gift retailers who are a cut above the rest and have continued to up the ante by being resilient and resourceful in an exceptionally challenging trading period,”says Sue Marks, editor of Progressive Gifts & Home/GiftsandHome.net. “Importantly, holding the Awards later in the year in September means that everyone can finally be together at a physical event.”
Now in its 19th year, the Greats Awards will fanfare the amazing gift retailers who have risen to the challenges since May 1, 2020, having pulled out all the stops and continued to trade through three lockdowns using click and collect and online, as well as home and postal deliveries.
For retailers who want to shout about exceptional members of their staff – those who go the extra mile – or the suppliers that are providing the best service to gift independents, email ianh@max-publishing.co.uk
Additionally, retailers are also invited to nominate outstanding suppliers in the Best Supplier Marketing Award – those who have demonstrated excellence in marketing over the past 12 months. Email ianh@max-publishing.co.uk
