The Gift Awards: Sweet Smell Of Success For Greats Sponsor Cereria Mollá 1899

With less than a week to go to The Gift Awards on Thursday 15 May, Cereria Mollá 1899’s Mark Taylor, director UK & Ireland, highlights why the company is “incredibly proud” to sponsor the Best Garden Centre Retailer of Gifts (1-4 centres) category at The Gift Awards, which will be taking place at London’s Royal Lancaster Hotel.

The company will also be showcasing Cereria Mollá 1899’s XXL reed diffusers at the event.

“These events truly celebrate the essence of our industry – creativity, craftsmanship and the passion of those who work tirelessly to bring exceptional products to life. As a brand deeply rooted in artisanal heritage, we understand the dedication it takes to transform an idea into a product that truly resonates with consumers.”

Continues Mark: “Since launching in the UK earlier this year, Cereria Mollá 1899, a family-run Spanish home fragrance house with over 100 years of fragrance craftsmanship, has rapidly become a name to watch in the home fragrance sector. Offering a blend of tradition and elegance, the brand provides retailers with something truly unique – a premium, handcrafted collection that is both accessible to retailers and beloved by consumers.

“Independent gift retailers, department stores and garden centres are vital to the retail landscape,” he emphasises. “They’re not just sales channels. They are destinations of discovery. These retailers enrich their communities with thoughtful curation, expert knowledge and a consumer experience that can’t be replicated. Therefore Cereria Mollá 1899 is especially excited to sponsor the Best Independent Garden Centre category – a partnership that reflects the brand’s values and retail strategy.”

He continues: “Garden centres play an essential role in their local communities, not only as shopping destinations, but also as places of inspiration. They provide differentiation, support local economies and elevate the customer experience through their attention to detail and personalised service. For us, it’s a natural fit.”

Since its UK launch, Cereria Mollá 1899 has experienced rapid growth, partnering with a growing network of premium independent gift retailers, department stores and destination garden centres. Recently, the brand became an approved supplier to the Cardgains Group, strengthening its visibility within the independent gift retail sector.

In a major milestone, Cereria Mollá 1899 also launched its UK fulfilment and operations hub, marking a significant step in its international growth strategy. “The investment will streamline distribution, enhance operational efficiency and provide first-class customer service and logistics support, to meet the growing demand for its premium home fragrance range,” states Mark.

Looking ahead, the company is focused on expanding its retail partnerships, with the introduction of new seasonal fragrances – including a dedicated Christmas collection inspired by the Mediterranean, featuring festive scents and premium gift sets.

Additionally, the company is excited to be exhibiting at the Harrogate Home & Gift Show in July, where it will showcase its latest products and connect with new and existing retail partners.

Summarises Mark: “We’re honoured to support these awards and celebrate the remarkable achievements within the industry. Whether it’s a high street boutique or a thriving garden centre, every exceptional retail experience begins with people who care, and we’re proud to support that journey.”

All Gift of the Year and Greats winners, including the recipient of the prestigious Outstanding Achievement award, will be revealed at The Gift Awards on Thursday 15 May at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London. The event will, once again, bring together The Giftware Association’s Gift of the Year Awards and The Greats gift retailer awards, organised and owned by Max Publishing, publishers of Progressive Gifts & Home/GiftsandHome.net.

At the glittering event, both gift product excellence and retail prowess will be recognised and rewarded in a true celebration of both sides of the UK gift industry.
