Signare Launches Frida Kahlo Collection

Frida Kahlo licensee Signare, based in Surrey, will be launching a debut licensed range of tapestry bags and accessories at Spring Fair in February with initial reactions very positive. There are two ranges, each with 10 pieces, covering everyday, evening and travel. Distribution will be worldwide.

All of the company’s designs are inspired by nature, great art and by life, with each one reproduced in the style of woven tapestry, making the pieces instantly recognisable.

Other Frida Kahlo licensees include giftware company Disaster Designs who recently brought out a second licensed Frida Kahlo collection that includes a water bottle, socks, scarves and a lightbox as well as other core accessories.

Other licensed items in the Frida Kahlo licensing portfolio include Christmas baubles, jewellery, a Barbie Doll, hand embroidered denim jackets, flower pots, wine and a rose.
