The Licensing Awards Are Open For Entry

The 2025 Licensing Awards are now open for entry, with a closing date of Friday 30 May 2025.

All of the award categories – including those for licensed products, licensed properties, retail, marketing, honorary achievement, plus the awards for sustainability, international retail and licensed live events – can now be entered, for free, via the website.

The Licensing Awards 2025 (which is owned and organised by Max Publishing) cover licensed product launches, licensing activity and licensed retailing execution taking place between 1 June 2024 to 31 May 2025.

Entry and judging of all the product categories will once again be done online. The process is quick and easy and means that there is no need to send any physical samples of products.

As ever, the product awards will be judged by key retailers from across the UK market. Last year more than 200 retailers judged the categories.

All categories are free to enter. Deadline for all entries is Friday 30 May.

The Licensing Awards 2025 have the strong backing of major names in the industry as official sponsors. The headline sponsor of the awards is Brand Licensing Europe, while Licensing International is an official supporter with its UK Rising Star award also presented at the event.

“BLE is honoured to be back once again as headline sponsor for The Licensing Awards in September,” commented Ella Haynes, BLE event director. “With 1,300 people in the room from all across our industry, it’s the perfect pre-cursor to BLE, which returns to Excel from 7-9 October.

“Everyone at BLE absolutely loves being a part of this event – as a sponsor and as guests – it’s wonderful to recognise the extraordinary achievements of the brands, manufacturers and retailers who inject so much creativity and innovation into our industry every single year.”

Steve Manners, head of global marketing and UK md at Licensing International, continued: “Licensing International is proud to once again sponsor the Rising Star Awards at the UK Licensing Awards, reaffirming our commitment to nurturing emerging talent within the industry. As the leading global trade association for the industry, we recognise that today’s rising stars represent tomorrow’s innovators who will help shape the future. By supporting these awards, we celebrate the fresh perspectives, creative thinking, and entrepreneurial spirit that new professionals bring to our community.”

The awards event itself will return to The Great Room at The Grosvenor House Hotel, London on Tuesday 16 September 2025.
