Gift of the Year 2024 Finalists Revealed

It’s the news that the gift and home industry has been waiting for! After four live judging days at Spring Fair earlier this month, the judges’ votes have been counted, with The Giftware Association delighted to reveal today (Tuesday 20 February) the official finalists in the Gift of the Year (GOTY) 2024.

The winners and highly commended products will be announced at The Gift Awards, to be held at London’s glittering Royal Lancaster Hotel on Thursday16 May 2024, once again bringing together both sides of the gift industry – the Gift Of The Year awards and the Greats gift retailer awards – to celebrate the best in product and the best in retail.

The winners of the GOTY competition will be announced at London’s Royal Lancaster Hotel on Thursday May 16.

“It was great to be back at Spring Fair for the third consecutive year to live judge the shortlisted entries, and we could not have been happier with the area which allowed the products to shine and also receive the attention they deserve,” comments the GA’s PR and marketing manager Chris Workman. “The event was a resounding success, attracting attention throughout the show, not just from the judges but from visitors too, who were using the area as a stop off point to find the best new exciting products on offer.”

Adds Chris: “It was also great to hear about the traffic that our shortlisted exhibitors got to their stands through their products being on display in the GOTY judging area at an already bustling Spring Fair. Plus, excitingly, we also signed up a potential 80 new judges to next year’s awards from across the retail spectrum.”

Once again, The Giftware Association will also be announcing the winner of the Gift of the Year People’s Choice award which is judged by the general public, enabling everyone to vote for their favourite product across all GOTY categories.

As with previous years, The Giftware Association has opened the category up to all shortlisted products, and is hoping it will be its biggest year yet, with over 3000 votes already counted, “so there is still an opportunity for a shortlisted company to get through to become the third ever People’s Choice winner,” highlights Chris.
