Scotland’s Trade Fair Spring Looks Forward To Welcoming Visitors

Scotland’s Trade Fair Spring, which takes place from 27-29 March at the SEC in Glasgow, has seen a flurry of new suppliers taking stands this year.Companies include The Coorie Company, Bella & Boo Kids, Turtle Doves, Fiddy & Mabel, Holy Mackerel, Aveva Design, Paraffle Embroidery, Scottish and Boxt Socks.

“We are hugely encouraged by the many new companies exhibiting and the fresh, exciting ranges from all our suppliers,” states show director Mark Saunders. “There is a buoyant mood among retailers and suppliers alike, who are longing to come together to order, network and return to a normal summer season with tourists and staycationers visiting Scotland in their droves.”

Returning to the show will be the Launch Gallery for new young talent, along with the Craft Gallery. In addition, the Talking Shop area will feature an impressive line up of speakers to include The Giftware Association’s chief executive Sarah Ward.

Plus, the Best Product Awards, sponsored by The Giftware Association, will be judged and awarded on Sunday 27 March, judged by retail experts Linda Birkbeck from House of Bruar; Catherine McGurk, Glasgow Museums and Taisir Gibreel of Restoration Yard. The winning products will then be displayed in the centre of the Show.
