“We’re Committed To Our Customers,” Say Ashleigh & Burwood

As the lockdown enters its third week, Andrew Nettleton, managing director of home fragrance company Ashleigh & Burwood, says the company is doing everything it can to help retailers – and staff – through the current tough times.

“We remain committed to our customers throughout this period and we’ve urged retailers to keep communications open about ways we can assist them,” Andrew told GiftsandHome.net. “One of the first changes to our terms was a reduction in our carriage paid order threshold, which should enable those that are still trading to top up as needed without extra cost.”

The company has also expanded its social media schedule, with an emphasis on the air purifying benefits of the company’s fragrance lamps. “We have also reached a new significant milestone with follower numbers on Instagram, which is all helping to build the brand and keep our name in the mind of consumers,” emphasises Andrew.

He adds that understandably, the company has had to implement changes internally and has welcomed the government’s provision of the coronavirus Job Retention Scheme, which has allowed the business to help safeguard staff and their families through these challenging times.

‘For Ashleigh & Burwood staff that have been put on the furlough scheme, many will be using their time to help their local communities by supporting the more vulnerable.  We’re keen to keep them all breast of the latest developments at Heritage House and, as such, our company newsletter for March went ahead as planned and was shared with all staff and agents, keeping everyone updated with the latest news, which will help us to hit the ground running once normal trade continues,’ Andrew explained.

“For the staff continuing to work at this time, there is a determination to not only keep the wheels turning, but to strengthen our offer ready for when normal business returns.
