A Hat Trick For Paladone

As one of Britain’s fastest growing international businesses, gift company Paladone is celebrating the third year that the company has been listed in the Sunday Times league tables for international growth.

In 2018, the company grew export sales by over 53%, ranking at 120th in the Sunday Times HSBC International Track 200, compiled by Fast Track and published in The Sunday Times each year.

Last year, Paladone ranked 57th in the same list and, in the year prior to that, the company was listed 36th on the Track 200’s baby brother league, the Sunday Times Lloyds SME Export Track 100.

Paladone’s success has been attributed to recruitment and infrastructure in several US States, the relocation and development of the HK office, regionally focused product development and, more recently, a £13m investment from LDC, the private equity arm of Lloyds Banking Group, implemented to fuel global expansion and the advancement of Paladone’s online ecosystem.

“All the businesses showcased have truly inspiring stories to tell about creativity, resilience and ambition to succeed,” commented Amanda Murphy, head of commercial Banking at HSBC UK.  “The 42 companies in the South East of England are putting the region firmly on the map. They are the kind of enterprises we are thrilled to support and that provide the backbone of our economy, today and tomorrow.”
