New Licence Collaboration For Widdop And Co

The latest artist to join the growing Widdop and Co licensing portfolio is watercolour artist Meg Hawkins, with a debut collection launching at Widdop’s January show, taking place between January 2nd and 23rd at the company’s North Manchester showrooms. The collection will also be on show at Spring Fair which takes place from February 3-7.

“We are incredibly excited to reveal the products we’ve been working on with Meg,” enthuses Widdop’s  product development director Stephen Illingworth. “Meg’s work celebrates the true beauty and majesty of wildlife. It’s totally unique and instantly recognisable, and her well-deserved success is proof of that. We are introducing Meg’s work to a collection of home and gifting items within our Country Living brand, which ranges from cushions to mugs, to offer everyone the chance to own some of this beautiful art.”

Adds Meg: “Widdop & Co’s enthusiasm for my work, and commitment to my brand, has marked a significant development in the growth of Meg Hawkins Art. It has been a real pleasure to design some exclusive designs for the company and I’m really excited about the launch of the full range of products and designs at Spring Fair 2019.”

Meg’s unique style reflects the movement and energy of the subjects she paints from her rural studio in the Shropshire Hills.

This year has seen Meg’s work awarded Best Home, Gift and Clothing Products at the Glee Awards, with her business, Meg Hawkins Art (MHA), named Best Start Up at the Rural Business Awards.
