Utility Expands Its Retail Portfolio In The North West

Tomorrow, (May 2), sees gift multiple Utility open a sixth gift store at 50 Eastgate Row in Chester, marking a further milestone for the company which is currently celebrating its 25th anniversary.

Comments Utility’s co-founder Richard Skelton: “We are thrilled to open our first store in Chester, especially given its proximity to our base near Liverpool. Chester has long been on our radar, as it’s a city where we already have a strong customer base. We’ve secured an excellent location and are excited to welcome our customers to the new store.”

The new opening signals “the brand’s commitment to spreading joy through thoughtful gifting across the region,” continues Richard, “showcasing a thoughtfully curated selection of gifts, homeware, fashion accessories and greeting cards in time for the Spring bank holiday.”

Co-founded in 1999 by Richard, Dick Mawdsley and Kate Cowie, Utility is an independent design and gift company based in Liverpool. In addition to Chester, gift stores are located in Liverpool One, Bold Street, Manchester Oxford Road, Altrincham, Manchester Cross Street.
