One Button’s Ailsa Black Jewellery A Hit On TV

Three brooches, designed exclusive for One Button by artist Ailsa Black, were debuted on shopping channel QVC last Saturday (August 25).

“After premiering live last Saturday, QVC sales were tremendous,” One Button’s founder and creative director Amanda Angless told GiftsandHome.net. “Although this isn’t our first licence, I predict that it will probably be the most successful one,” predicted Amanda.

“Ailsa Black’s work is fabulous, and her creative artistic flair and imagination collaborate beautifully with the quirky personality that One Button is known for. Adding a little bit of One Button magic has allowed us to bring her wonderful work to life in brooches and we are looking forward to creating more for SS19.”

At This Is Iris, which brokered the partnership, Sarah Lawrence added: “Ailsa is very popular with licensees and this was an exciting opportunity to reach a large audience who may not be aware of Ailsa’s distinctive art style. QVC is the perfect platform for the debut of Ailsa’s new line and One Buttons’ Amanda Angless was the perfect host.”

The special QVC event featured various jewellery lines, including a collection of brooches featuring animals from Ailsa’s most popular paintings.

In addition to her collections with One Button and Apples To Pears, Ailsa has developed several new collections and created bespoke ranges for RSPB and Oxfam.
