Lifestyle Store MiMi Wins Wokingham Community Business Of The Year Award

Gift, lifestyle and fashion store MiMi, which has shops in Wokingham and Hartley Wintney, has added to its trophy cabinet following the Wokingham shop’s success at the inaugural Wokingham Community Awards, sponsored by Wokingham Positive Difference.

MiMi Wokingham’s staff took home the Community Business of the Year award in recognition of MiMi’s ‘commitment to serving the town, going above and beyond to ensure their customers feel at home while browning their stock’.

“It feels amazing to be nominated, and to win has been fabulous for the team. Everyone is just buzzing,” Julianne Moore MiMi’s owner told Wokingham Today.

“We’ve set up our shop with a chair for husbands or people that come in and just want to chat or need to know directions,” she explained. “Everybody who works in the store is local to Wokingham so everyone knows the community and is part of it. We’re just happy to help.”

MiMi’s first store in Hartley Wintney opened in 2012, with the Wokingham branch opening in 2019.
