The next edition of Italian lifestyle show HOMI – which takes place from January 27-30, 2022, at Rho’s Feiera Milano in Milan – will be showcasing how the home has evolved since the pandemic, reflecting people’s new lifestyles and values.
“After the last year, the home has become the new centre of gravity in our lives,” emphasises Andrea Tozzi, research manager at home analysts CasaDoxa, BVA Doxa, “but it has had to be adapted to accommodate functions and activities that used to take place outside, such as work, sport, school, etc. This new central role of the home has fuelled a strong desire to renovate interiors and furnishings, to have a more beautiful, more comfortable, multitasking home that is more in line with the changing needs of its inhabitants.”
In line with trends, the show will be putting a focus on the home environment in relation to wellbeing, as well as on quality homewares and decorative home accessories, and on new materials and sustainability, presenting how the home is evolving to become a multifunctional space.
Products from the latest international brands will be showcased across lifestyle, home, accessories, home fragrancing, tableware and textiles, reflecting contemporary living spaces.
Innovation, design and craftsmanship will be a common thread throughout HOMI, confirm organisers Fiera Milano, with the show also featuring a large ‘Made In’ section in line with trends and consumer demands.
HOMI is also accessible online at HOMICommunity, a digital space that’s active all year round.
