First Stop Bill & Bert’s Gift Shop For Jellycat’s Jack

The past two weeks have seen fans of all ages, from all parts of the UK, head to Bill & Bert’s gift shop in Colchester to have their photo taken with Jellycat’s giant Jack plush, which is helping to celebrate the brand’s 25th anniversary.

Fans travelled from Leeds, Manchester and Southampton for a hug and a photo opportunity, with Jack arriving at Bill & Bert’s on Monday March 25 and heading off on Saturday April 6.

“We have one of the largest displays of Jellycat in the country,” owner Bill Nettelfield told the Colchester Gazette, “and were delighted to be the starting point of Jack’s world tour.”

There were more celebrations too, as last weekend was the second anniversary of an extension to Bill and Bert’s two years ago, which saw the shop move into the building nextdoor. “There was Prosecco for all our lovely customers along with food and a cocktail tasting throughout the day,” Bill highlighted.

Bill & Bert’s opened in August 2019.
