Jimbobart Grows Its Licensing Programme

Gift-led art brand Jimbobart, which was among the exhibitors at last month’s Top Drawer, is continuing to go from strength to strength, focusing on eccentric fun animal illustrations, each with human traits.

Founded by illustrator James Ward in 2009, the company has seen rapid growth over the past two years, with 2022 proving to be an exciting year. There’s an art exhibition in the pipeline and an expanding licensing programme, spearheaded by The Point 1888, which includes sub-agents in America and Iberia helping the brand to grow internationally.

New deals include tabletop, textiles and barware via Pure Tabletop, which will launch later this year, with Elite Tins continuing as a licensee, with products including cake, biscuit and sandwich tins.

“It’s great to see the momentum building up in the licensing programme, with activity happening worldwide and more projects in the pipeline,” said James. “I’m so happy to share my love of nature and wildlife with a growing audience. It’s lovely to hear stories from happy customers about their relationships with the animals and characters featured in my illustrations.”

At Top Drawer, James showcased Jimbobart’s British Wildlife Collection, with a percentage of all sales donated to the Sussex Wildlife Trust.
