An Optimistic Outlook For Ambiente 2021

Looking forward to the ‘other side’ of the current pandemic, Messe Frankfurt, organisers of Ambiente, has confirmed that the show has already filled 90 per cent of its exhibition space, with the need for personal encounters and face-to-face communication growing.

“Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the entire consumer goods industry is facing a difficult year,” states Ambiente’s vice president Nicolette Naumann.  “But we have an optimistic outlook for the future, with Ambiente already well filled at this stage. After such a difficult time, trade needs new momentum to boost consumption.”

In addition to renowned dining brands such as Alessi and Rosenthal, numerous leading names in the living and giving sector will be returning to Ambiente 2021, including Blomus, Bloomingville, Boltze, Broste Copenhagen, Dôme Deco, DPI, Duif International, Eichholtz, Ethnicraft, Gilde Handwerk, Giobagnara, Gries Deco with ipuro, Höfats, Hoff-Interieur, IB Laursen, Lind DNA, Lightmakers with Light & Living and Kare Design.

The special Focus on Design presentation will be among the highlights of the show. For the second consecutive year, Ambiente will showcase products from a design nation or a region. In February this year, designers from Brazil were showcased.

Ambiente will be taking place from 19-23 February, 2021.
