The Tatty Devine Takeover, housed in a former Wooworths in Thanet, will give visitors the opportunity to be the first to shop the company’s Fawcett Society x Tatty Devine collection. Attendees will be able to try their hand at jewellery making workshops, to include making a suffragette-inspired Tatty Devine bunting necklace, as well as learning more from trail blazing female creatives that include Tatty Devine’s co-founders Rosie Wolfenden and Harriet Vine who will be hosting a special POW! bunting necklace workshop on International Women’s Day itself, Sunday March 8.

In addition, fashion historian, author, and broadcaster Amber Butchart will  explore the cultural significance of Tatty Devine and the resounding response to their collections of campaign jewellery.

The Fawcett Society is a leading UK charity campaigning for gender equality and women’s rights.
