The Very Hungry Caterpillar Charms RHS Visitors

Inspired by The Very Hungry Caterpillar’s 50th anniversary, related events have been a feature of four RHS flower shows this summer – RHS Cardiff, RHS Chatsworth, RHS Hampton Court Palace and RHS Tatton Park – and are currently running in four RHS gardens for the rest of the summer.

Licensed product from licensees that include Rainbow Designs, Robert Frederick and William Lamb, have been featured in the gift shops at all four shows.

Other marketing, promotional and celebratory activities are underway or planned to mark The Very Hungry Caterpillar’s birthday year.

Across the board, current RHS gift licensees include Shruti (fashion accessories); Heathcote & Ivory (toiletries); Wax Lyrical (candles and reed diffusers); Churchill China (mugs), Ulster Weavers(kitchen textiles, trays, placemats, mugs, oven gloves and linen tea towels), and Burgon & Ball (gifts for gardeners).
