Muddy Stilettos Lifestyle Winners Revealed

Greats winners, both past and present, were among the retailers who triumphed in the recent Muddy Stilettos Awards independent lifestyle retailer awards, with the winners announced last Friday (May 24).

Winners across all categories are nominated and voted for by the public, with the awards setting out to reward the best independent businesses outside of London. This year some 750,000 votes were cast.

Josie’s Interiors in Bideford, whose owner James Webster was a finalist in The Greats Awards 2019 Best Newcomer South & Wales category, (and who won the category last year’s Greats Awards), was named the winning Interiors shop in the Devon category.

“It means so much to win the Muddy Stilettos awards as it is voted for 100% by our customers and followers. To win it for a consecutive three years has just blown me away!’ James told GiftsandHome.net

Another Greats Awards 2019 finalist, Sunshine & Snow, also based in Bideford, won the Muddy Stilettos Best Gift Shop award in Devon, while Daisy Chain in Histon, a past Greats winner, won the Best Gift Shop in Cambridgeshire award.

“It’s a wonderful feeling to know that we have been voted Devon’s best gift shop and that people voted for the shop,” commented owner India Snow. “There are some amazing shops in Devon that we were up against, so to win has made us feel well and truly honoured.”

Added Daisy Chain’s co-owner Lesley Nunn:  “I heard the news on my birthday so it was extra special – a double celebration. For us, the best thing has been the voting support and love we have had from our lovely customers. They are as thrilled as we are. We have had so many visits and wonderful messages and that’s what really counts.”
