“High street stores are always looking for initiatives to increase footfall and sales – especially during a difficult period for British retail,” comments Sarah Laker, owner of Marple Stationery Supplies. “National Stationery Week is the ideal campaign for retailers to do that.”

She continues: “Stationery Shop Saturday will see retailers across the world join us in celebrating bricks and mortar stores. Plus, there’s no better time for consumers to take part in some retail therapy.”

Retailers can get involved with National Stationery Week by signing up as a participating retailer at www.nationalstationeryweek.com/retailer-sign-up/

National Stationery Week starts on April 29 and runs until May 5.
