The Greats Award 2019 Countdown Begins

To celebrate The Greats Gift Retailer Awards 2019, a brand new website has been launched – www.thegreatsawards.co.uk– featuring details on how to enter this year’s competition, together with a downloadable entry form. Entries can also be emailed directly to suem@max-publishing.co.uk The closing date for entries is January 31, 2019.

With entries starting to arrive, it’s still all to play for, with the Awards rewarding and recognising entrepreneurial gift retailers and gift departments of all shapes and sizes whose achievements in 2018 have made them stand out from the crowd. Retailers are encouraged to self-nominate their shops in all categories, and also, to enter their extra special shop staff for the Best Retail Employee Award.

“The Greats is a fantastic opportunity for gift retailers – from the tiniest village shop to the largest multiple – to bang the drum for their achievements over the past year,” enthuses Sue Marks, editor of Progressive Gifts & Home. “We know that there are some fantastic retailers out there, and we’re looking to reward retail excellence, professionalism, innovation and commitment.”

Plus, suppliers, reps and agents are also encouraged to nominate the exceptional retailers that they believe stand out head and shoulders from the crowd.

Nominations are also welcomed for the prestigious Honorary Achievement Award, which recognises a very special person who has made a major contribution to the gift industry as a whole. Nominations are confidential and can be emailed to ianh@max-publishing.co.uk
