Amazon Opens 4-Star Outlet In New York

Hot on the heels of some 12 bricks and mortar book stores in the US, Amazon has once again demonstrated its commitment to high street retailing by opening Amazon 4-Star, an outlet based in Manhattan’s trendy SoHo area.

The shop sells a wide range of products – to include gifts and homewares –  that are rated 4 star by its customers, or are new and trending. Items include candles, stationery, toys, books, games, consumer electronics and housewares.

To inspire shoppers, features include ‘Most Wished For’, a collection of products that are most added to Amazon.com wish lists; Trending Around NYC, reflecting what New York customers are buying on Amazon, as well as Frequently Bought Together and Amazon Exclusives.

The new store, the first of its kind for Amazon, will stay open seven days a week.
