PG Live’s Record Breaking Show!

The busiest PG Live show ever – which took place from June 5- 6  – was also the most successful event in the exhibition’s 10 year history, according to organiser Max Exhibitions, with an impressive visitor list featuring high profile buyers, independents and overseas distributors.

“All the hard work certainly paid off with this year’s visitor numbers the highest in PG Live’s 10 year history by some considerable margin,” enthused Warren Lomax, joint show director. “We would like to send a huge thank you to all of our fabulous exhibitors and visitors that helped make our 10th PG Live such an amazing success. We look forward to seeing you in 2019!”

The high-energy show was opened by the sound of former Curiosity Killed The Cat saxophonist Graeme Airth welcoming in the early birds. The friendly, enthusiastic atmosphere proved particularly conducive to business as it wasn’t long before exhibitors were taking their first orders.

There was a fabulous atmosphere on the show floor, with greeting card buyers from across the UK and almost 30 other countries making their selections for the coming year.

Exhibitors were delighted with the response they had from the buyers, with Wendy Jones-Blackett – who has attended every PG Live show over the past decade – describing the show as “simply amazing” and reporting “record-breaking numbers of orders” being placed.

“It was certainly a really buzzing PG Live and one of the best, that’s for sure,” commented Miles Robinson, partner of House of Cards, who has also been at every single show for the last 10 years. “It was great to see so many publishers making such an effort and there was certainly no shortage of product development going on!”

The dates for the 2019 show have been confirmed as Tuesday 4 to Wednesday 5 June 2019!
