Greats Winner Find Me A Gift Celebrates 18th Anniversary

In 2000, Find Me A Gift – winner of The Greats 2018 Best Online Or Mail Order Retailer of Gifts category – had a goal to be bigger than Amazon. And although the company is still working on that, 18 years on, and having just completed their biggest year to date with a turnover of £16m, they are now competing with the likes of not only Amazon but also Not On The High Street, Firebox and Argos.

“Part of our success is being able to change and adapt to what’s going on within the economy, market and society, and to be able to look at the next big thing and going and getting it,” says director Adam Gore. “In addition, the team have a great spirit, believe in the company, and want to make it a big success.”

Adam says what makes Find Me A Gift stand out is the fact that it is growing, has £1m  in the bank, and has moved properties to cope with more stock and more people.

However, wanting to be bigger than Amazon remains on the table, with the goals for the next 10 years already in place.

Looking back over the years, Adam reveals that some of the most popular gifts have been replica Star light sabers, a favourite with Star Wars fan Adam himself!
