Delighted to be among the finalists in The Greats Awards’ Independent Gift Retailer of the Year Scotland category, Glasgow gift shop Spirito held a special day at the store at the end of April, with giveaways, a free tombola, as well as drinks and nibbles for visitors.
“It was a thank you to our customers as well as to mark being a finalist in the Greats this year,” Spirito’s owner Denise Laird told GiftsandHome.net. “We had a fabulous cake made for the occasion which was created by Vicki Mclean – a Scottish rep for Pilgrim jewellery and a sales agent for various card companies – who did a fantastic job. She clearly has a hidden talent for making amazing cakes that taste just as good as they look!”
Continued Denise: “It was a really fun, happy time and a great excuse to have a little party! Customers really loved the day and our staff enjoyed it too. All our customers are delighted that we have reached The Greats finals and are all keeping their fingers crossed for us!”
