New York, New York

Gift and home show NY NOW will be the first major event to runat the re-opened Jacob K. Javits Convention Centre in New York. Taking place from August 8-11, the Summer Market will be back after postponing and then cancelling the show last year at the height of the pandemic.

“We’re delighted to be the first event back in person at the Javits Center,” says Tim Hart, SVP of NY NOW.  “Our role has always been to support our community of small businesses in coming together, and that role has never been more important than now. This is such an exciting time for New York City as it reopens and all of us have a role to play in its cultural and economic resurgence. We know buyers are ready to meet in person and we cannot wait to gather this August for a safe and productive market.”

Adds Tim: “However, we are not only excited to come back in-person but also to launch an integrated digital and in person market, a first for the gift and home industry. We have established our Digital Market as a vital 365 resource for buyers and are excited to connect it to our in person event. Buyers will be able to walk the aisles of our refreshed market layoutat the Javits and connect with the same set of brands before and after the show,” he confirms.

We look forward to leading New York’s economic resurgence with the exhibitors and organisers of NY NOW.”

The event, featuring over 500 brands and makers, will be operated in accordance withcapacity and safety protocols established by the New York State Department of Health.
