Making (Radio) Waves

Aga Gabrysiak and Richard Marsden, co-owners of gift shop Highworth Emporium in Highworth, recently joined BBC Radio Wiltshire’s presenter Tim Weeks for his weekly show The Socials.

Explains Aga: “The show focuses on businesses who use social media to promote their business, but we also talked about how and when we decided to start the business, etc. It was a very social chat in a relaxed atmosphere and we both really enjoyed it.”

She continued: “Just before we went live, we posted on Facebook about it, so lots of our customers listened in to the interview and we received a lot of really nice comments from them.”

Following on from the shop’s success at The Greats 2019 earlier this year – Highworth Emporium won the Best Newcomer South and Wales category – Aga was also interview on Swindon 105.5’s Roundabout Swindon’s radio show about what gives the shop its edge.
