Gift Of The Year Announces A New Category

It’s all to play for at the Gift Of The Year Awards 2023!

As excitement builds for the Gift of the Year competition, a brand new category, Games, has been introduced by organisers The Giftware Association.

‘We are really excited about the new category as it gives space to celebrate all those fantastic games, and the brands that create games,” Chris Workman, The Giftware Association’s PR and marketing manager, told GiftsandHome.net.

“We have spoken to a lot of companies over the Autumn trade show season and it has been evident that there needs to be a category celebrating them.”

Games is one of 19 categories in this year’s competition, with the others as follows: Branded Gift: Beauty, Bath & Spa; Cards, Wraps & Stationery; Children’s, Educational and Pre-School; Commemorative, Collectable and Charitable; Contemporary Gift; Design & Craft; Ethical and Sustainable Gift; Fashion Accessories & Jewellery; Festive & Occasions; Food & Drink; Home & Garden; Home Fragrance; International; Kitchen & Dining; Novelty, Tech & Gadgets; Under £15 and My Gift Of All Time.

All Gift of the Year winners will be announced at The Gift Awards, taking place at the glittering Royal Lancaster hotel in London on 11 May, 2023, which will again be bringing together the Gift of the Year (GOTY) with The Greats gift retailer awards. At the lavish, black tie event, both gift product excellence and gift retail prowess will be recognised and rewarded.
