First Day Triumph For Spring Fair

Visitors were out in force to welcome back Spring Fair at the NEC Birmingham yesterday (Sunday February 6). “We were absolutely delighted with the opening day,” Julie Driscoll, divisional managing director, Spring Fair & Moda, told GiftsandHome.net. “Exhibitors have made an incredible effort with their stands. The show was busy all day with exhibitors excited to be back and anticipating a really good four days.”

Enesco’s marketing and product director, Helen Cottrill, confirmed that the company had an extremely busy Sunday. “Everyone is so glad to be back at Spring Fair and we were very proud to unveil our new products across all categories to include Peter Rabbit, which is celebrating its 120 anniversary this year, as well as Demdaco’s brand new range of decorative home pieces and collectables.”

Mad Beauty’s creative director Julia Cash reported that the stand was busy all day. “We had a great Sunday,” she enthused. “It was wonderful to see all our customers back, both old and new, and we loved unveiling all the fantastic products that we have worked so hard on.”

At Candlelight, where the company is celebrating its 50th anniversary, the show was busy from the off, with a brand new Jeff Banks Home range, launched at the show spanning home fragrance, dining and objets, to include lanterns. Meanwhile,taking centre stage was the company’s anniversary centrepiece of re-launched iconic amber kitchen storage jars which are commemorating the special milestone. “We were very pleased with the first day of the show and were very busy all day,” said founder and managing director Mike Winch.

At Moda in hall 2, Jayley’s marketing manager Sinead Bradford added: “we had a fantastic first day. Our stand was very busy from the moment the show opened. Customers loved our new fabrics and bold, beautiful colours for Spring/Summer 2021 across clothes, hats and bags, as well as our key lines for Autumn/Winter. Our collections include a range of banana peel cardigans as well as rose petal fabric dresses that feel like silk.”
